EC students on the Brossman Commons terrace Your college application process is currently underway, and we have designed this site to help familiarize you with the next steps to gaining admission to Elizabethtown College. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our application and admission process either online or by scheduling a campus visit.

At Elizabethtown, our admission staff works individually with each applicant. We are looking forward to meeting you personally! Although not required for admission, we strongly encourage all prospective students to visit campus for an admission interview and campus tour. Check our upcoming events link to view our special on-campus programs for the upcoming year.

Remember these distinctive aspects of the Elizabethtown application process:

    • Elizabethtown notifies students of admission on a rolling basis. In other words, decisions are returned as your application is complete. If your application is complete by the first of the month, you can expect a decision by the 15th of that same month.

    • Students who rank in the top 10% of their high school (or who have a 3.5 or better grade point average at a high school that does not provide a class rank) are eligible to waive their standardized test scores.

    • When determining fit, our initial admissions decision may be a request for more information. Do not take this request in a negative way. We simply want to find those students who stand to gain the most from Elizabethtown and from whom Elizabethtown also stands to gain.
