Welcome to the Department of Biology

The Department of Biology offers a strong, research grounded curriculum with opportunities to pursue studies in a wide variety of  biology related fields.  Small class sizes and hands on laboratory experiences and field work prepare you for the world beyond college.  We offer a program where research opportunities are emphasized and our facilities are state of the art.  Our students include a Rhodes Scholar, two Goldwater Scholar and two NCCAA Post-graduate Scholars. An active and dedicated faculty will work with you to make sure you reach your potential.
