Bachelor of Science in Biology
The curriculum prepares students for the rigors of graduate school, professional schools of medicine and allied health, and for biologically oriented employment opportunities.
Concentrations
1. The biological science concentration prepares you for immediate employment or graduate study in a wide variety of fields.
2. Pre-Medical concentration will lay a foundation for future studies in medicine. Your biology department faculty advisor will help you customize a program for your needs. The Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC) will help you prepare for your professional school admission.
3. Allied Health concentration prepares students for a career in physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, invasive cardiovascular technology, or physical therapy.
4. Secondary Education concentration combines teaching classes with biology, preparing you for certifcation as a secondary teacher in biology.
