The Department of Biology offers a strong, research-grounded curriculum that emphasizes both theory and practice. A state-of-the-art teaching and research facility houses the Department and provides students with the latest in equipment and techniques. You may earn a bachelor of science degree in biology, biotechnology, or environmental science from Elizabethtown. The biology department also has programs affiliated with several major universities to allow students to pursue graduate degrees in several additional areas.

A doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program is offered through a cooperative agreement between Elizabethtown College and the Jefferson College of Health Professions of Thomas Jefferson University. Students can earn both the bachelor of science (BS) and doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degrees in six years after graduation from high school.
