HOW JAYNET VOICE MESSAGING WORKS

CALL PILOT MAIL MESSAGE EXT. 1200
Call Pilot is a lot like the answering machine you might have at home. When you cannot answer your calls, Call Pilot answers them for you and plays a greeting you have prerecorded. When someone leaves a message for you, it is put into your voice mailbox with the rest of your messages. When you next pick up your phone, you will hear an interrupted dial tone alerting you that you have a message. To utilize Call Pilot, you use the keys on your touch-tone telephone. Please note in the following instructions that every symbol, such as #, is a key which you must press.

TO ACCESS CALL PILOT ON CAMPUS
Dial 1200

TO ACCESS CALL PILOT OFF CAMPUS
Dial 361-1200 within the 717 area code or (717) 361-1200 outside the the 717 area code.

TO EXIT CALL PILOT
Press 83

FOLLOW THE PROMPTS
Call Pilot always asks you for the information it needs and tells you what keys to press. If you are having trouble, Call Pilot usually repeats the prompt. Once you are familiar with Call Pilot, you can cut the prompts short by pressing any key.

CALL PILOT HELP

# NUMBER SIGN
Remember to press the # key to tell Call Pilot you have finished entering a series of numbers (like your password), to stop recording, or to exit a function. When giving instructions, Call Pilot will tell you when the # key is required at the end of an entry.
