Fine Arts Minors

The Art History minor requires Art 155,157, and three 200-300 level art history elective courses (Art 230, 250, 260,270, or 360).

The Studio Art minor requires Art 105;106 or 120; 155 or 157; one 100-200 level studio art elective course (130, 204,205, 206, 210, or 251), and one 200-300 level art history elective course (Art230, 250, 260, 270, or 360).


Music Minor

The Music minor provides students with opportunities to acquire and develop skills in music theory, music performance, music history and literature. The Music minor requires Music 101 and 103, or 305, 110, 121; 441or 205 or 242 or 243; four credits of instruction on one instrument or invoice, with registration in Music 100 (Repertoire Class) in each of the same semesters; and minimum of four credits of music ensemble participation. A student electing to minor in Music must consult with the Department Chair, who assigns a music faculty member to assist the student’s academic advisor as necessary.


Theatre Minor

The Theatre minor requires 24 credits: Theatre 105, 155, 165; Dance 101; one course from English 104 (Drama only), 403, or Theatre 240, or 340. In addition, the Minor Performance track requires Theatre 265 or 320 and two semesters of Theatre 360; the Minor Technical track requires Theatre 255 or 355 and two semesters of Theatre 350.
