The religious climate at Elizabethtown College is similar to the national context of 21^st century trends in religion: increasing religious diversity, intensified interest in spirituality and religion, increasing breadth and depth of both religious and spiritual concerns of students, faculty, and staff.

The Chaplain’s Office seeks to ensure that students have reasonable access to religious service and practices of their own choosing. The Chaplain’s Office provides spiritual mentoring, pastoral counseling, and vocational exploration for students, with the goal of moving students from a young person’s faith to an adult faith.
