Mission Statement
The Department of Communications provides an educational environment which ensures students the opportunity to develop professional expertise demonstrating technical acumen, critical judgement, and individual creativity.
- The Department of Communications is one of the largest majors at Elizabethtown College.
- Adjunct Communications faculty are working professionals who bring experience and insight to the classroom.
- There are many communications-related organizations and media on campus.
- The Department faculty and/or the College maintain membership and active participation in many national, regional, and state communications organizations. These groups provide valuable assistance, materials, and support for the academic program.
- In the 2004-2005 academic year, there were 116 total majors and 26 minors in the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes.
