Dr. Jones received a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Milwaukee-Downer College, M.S. in psychoeducational services from Florida International University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbane/Champaign in adult and continuing education. Her clinical practice has been primarily in the psychosocial area. She served in the Medical Specialists Corps of the U.S. Air Force and was Director of Occupational Therapy and Assistant Principal of the Children's Division of South Florida State Hospital. Since moving into the academic area she has been a member of the faculties of Palm Beach Junior College, Florida International University, the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Rush University before coming to Elizabethtown College in the Summer of 1987. She served as program director and department chair for 10 years. Dr. Jones is currently a member of the Commission on Education of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association. She teaches the basic Occupational Therapy theory courses, activities and media, and a seminar course.
