Hostage/Terrorism Situations

1. In the event that a situation involving terrorism or hostages occurs, call the College dispatcher at ext. 1111 immediately.
2. The College dispatcher will notify the local police.
3. Upon arrival to the campus, the police will be briefed by the EMG.
4. The police will "take charge" of the situation at this time. The EMG will support the police and other authorities as needed.
5. The building involved will be evacuated with all students, staff, and faculty reporting to Thompson Gymnasium. The evacuation process will be conducted by outside emergency responders, not College employees.
