Our students participate in a large variety of wonderful activities.
Students can write for Fine Print, the annual college literary magazine; The Etownian, the weekly college paper; or they can help to write and design the Etown yearbook, The Conestogan.
Every semester the English department hosts readings by guest poets that students can sit in on and have the opportunity to meet with famous authors.
Students who achieve excellence can choose to participate in Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, and the English Majors Club is open to all those interested in English, not just majors.
And every year the English deparment and the English Club host several social events, such as a fall picnic, a poetry slam, and an awards festival in the spring.
