Elizabethtown College, in collaboration with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, will provide comprehensive clinical health services for full-time students. Appointments

Scheduled appointments for routine care are available as well as walk-ins for acute care. Our College Health Liaison (CHL), a nurse practitioner and two physicians are ready to assist you. [To Top]

Free Consultations

Consultations with the CHL, Eileen Wagener, are available at no cost to full-time students.

The CHL can be reached directly at 717-489-1021. Appointments can be made by calling the CHL or through a direct call to the physicians' office, 717-361-0666. [To Top]

Patient Registration

At the time of your first consultation or visit you must open a Penn State Hershey medical record. You must present your health insurance card or a photocopy (front & back) during this check in process. [To Top]

Payment

No payment is required at the time of service. You may elect to make a co-payment at the time of receiving services, or ask to have this amount billed directly to your parent’s home. (See insurance information.) [To Top]

Prescription Medications

Sloan’s Pharmacy will deliver student prescriptions to campus at no additional charge. Prescriptions from your office visit will be faxed and then delivered. You may have your physician call the pharmacy at 717-653-6888 with an order and request a campus delivery. Prescriptions can be picked up at Campus Security. [To Top]

Allergy Shots

Your first appointment will be with a primary care provider. After that you schedule your appointments with a nurse. If your insurance covers your allergy shots they will be billed directly to your insurance. [To Top]

FAQs

What if I sprain my ankle and can’t walk over to the doctor’s office?
Call Eileen Wagener and she will authorize the transport with Campus Security.


Will I still be able to get my flu shot on campus?
Yes, there will be scheduled clinics for flu shots.


Will there still be free STI clinics?
Yes, please watch for specific information about dates/times of the free clinics.


Can I schedule an appointment to see a primary care provider without going through the College Health Liaison?
