Helpdesk Assistant

Description: Assist in daily operations of the Helpdesk including assisting students over the phone and walk-in customers as well as on-site visits and delivery of media equipment.
Requirements: A broad range of knowledge in general operations of a computer and the ability to communicate remediation steps to the user.
Wage: $7.45 - $7.90 (depending on experience)

Technical Writer

Description:
Prepare written documentation and manuals for multiple types of software and equipment to be used for internal and external purposes.
Requirements: Strong written English skills and a basic understanding of computers are required. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and audiovisual equipment preferred, but not required.
Wage: $7.45 - $7.90 (depending on experience)

Educational Technology Center Assistant

Description: Assist in daily operations of the Educational Technology Center and assisting Faculty/Staff/Students with projects relating to educational technology as well as provide support for audiovisual projects elsewhere on campus.
Requirements: Moderate to advanced knowledge in the areas of video/sound recording, video/sound editing, and/or graphics design.
Wage: $7.45 - $7.90 (depending on experience)

Diagnostic Center Technician

Description: Technicians are responsible for removing harmful applications (viruses/spyware/malware) from student computers.
Requirements: Moderate to advanced knowledge of viruses/spyware/malware and how they relate to the computer environment.  Moderate to advanced knowledge of programs to remove these applications.  Attention to detail is extremely important.
Wage: $7.60-$8.05 (depending on experience)

Student Web Developer

Description:
Design and maintenance of campus web sites (mainly academic and administrative departments) to assist the Web Developer.
Requirements: A broad range of experience and knowledge in HTML, ASP, and other areas of web development.
Wage: $7.75 - $8.20(depending on experience)
