Diane Elliot, Director of Diversity





Diane Elliott is currently the director of the Office of Diversity at Elizabethtown College. Ms. Elliott came to Elizabethtown from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. She served in the School of Social Work for eleven years, and was a tenured Assistant Professor. Ms. Elliott’s research area has focused on diversity, macro practice and family health. Ms. Elliott is an undergraduate of Cleveland State University, and received a Master of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio. Ms. Elliott currently holds an Assistant Professorship at Elizabethtown in the School of Social Work. She has worked as a consultant for several agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a federal grant reviewer. Her practice experience has maintained an emphasis on diversity, in community organization, social planning, and health promotion. “Ms. Elliott feels that enhancing diversity at Elizabethtown College cannot be a solo operation, but rather is the responsibility of each administrator, faculty, staff, and student of the College”.







Rachel Hadrick, Coordinator of Multicultural Programs and Residential Communities






Rachel Hadrick is the Coordinator for Multicultural Programs and Residential Communities. She recently received her Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis on Music Recording Technology from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. While an undergraduate student at LVC, Rachel was a dedicated member of the majority of the LVC’s multicultural organizations as well as a volunteer worker for the Office of Multicultural Affairs. During her third year of undergraduate study, Rachel completed an independent study on race, music and identity, which she presented in the course Film and the American Identity. That year she also served as student representative for the committee to create the LVC Bias Response Team. In the fall of 2005, she was a co-presenter at the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME) conference in Atlanta, GA. In 2006, she served as a speaker for the plenary session of the PA-NAME conference in Scranton, PA. In addition to providing multicultural programming at Elizabethtown College, Rachel also serves as a member of the full-time professional staff in the Office of Residence Life and is the Residence Director for Royer Hall.
