The College Democrats took an active roll in the 2002 Congressional and Pennsylvania Gubernatorial Elections. Club members volunteered for the Ed Rendell and the Tim Holden campaigns. The club also sent representatives to the Rendell Campaign's College Summit in State College.

The Elizabethtown College Democrats are also in contact with the Lancaster County Democrats, the Elizabethtown Democrats, as well as the College Democrats at Millersville University and Franklin and Marshall College.
