Spring Semester 2002

On April 8, the Political Science Club took a trip to New York City for a tour of the UN and Ground Zero.

On May 1, 2002, the Political Science Club sponsored a debate in Gibble Auditorium between State Representative Tom Armstrong and his Republican primary opponent, David Hickernell. The debate was broadcast live on WWEC-FM and www.wwecfm.com; Dr. E. Fletcher McClellan served as moderator for the debate.

Fall Semester 2002

The Political Science Club sponsored a forum concerning Iraq on September 26, 2002. The forum featured Ambassador Craig, Jeffrey Weber, Dr. Paul Gottfried and Tracey Sadd.

The Political Science Club also sponsored a trip to Washington D.C., which included a tour of the Holocaust Museum.
