Diane Bridge, assistant professor of biology

Bridge earned bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in biology from Yale University. Prior to coming to Elizabethtown College in 2000, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California at Irvine and at the American Museum of Natural History.

Bridge’s research involves examining the cell biology and growth of marine animals related to corals. She received a $78,042 National Science Foundation grant for this research, done in collaboration with Daniel Martinez at California’s Pomona College.
