Elizabethtown College concert to feature student solo performances

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Ten student musicians will perform during Elizabethtown College’s Student Solo Performances concert at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 21, in Leffler Chapel and Performance Center. The concert is open to the public free of charge.

Performers include flutists Rebecca Kalita, a first-year student from Rochester, N.Y.; Maryellen Fairchild, a first-year student from Chambersburg; and Jessica Walsh, a sophomore from Levittown. Pianists are Jacob Porter, a sophomore from Clarks Summit; Katherine Toskey, a first-year student from Gilbertsville; and Susan Halladay, a junior from Nesquehoning. Vocalists are Lindsay Nestor, a sophomore from Woodstown, N.J.; Sara Otero, a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio; and Carrie Houtz, a sophomore from Myerstown. Christina Hurst, a sophomore from New Holland, will also play the clarinet.
