E-town College student directors featured during annual one-act festival
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Seven plays directed, designed and produced by Elizabethtown College theatre students will be presented during the College’s annual one-act festival. The event, held in Tempest Theatre, will begin at 8 p.m., Feb. 16-18. It is open to the public, and there is a $2 admission charge.
Shows to be presented include “The Lottery,” directed by senior Ryan Gruber of Pottstown; “The Office,” directed by senior Stephanie Sevelovitz of Mahopac, N.Y.; “The Sure Thing,” directed by senior Carrie Beals of Mt. Desert, Maine; “Anticipation,” written by sophomore Will Sechrist of Lincoln University and directed by senior Rachel Shaw of Brunswick, Ohio; “A Streetcar Named Desire,” directed by senior Ashley Kerns of Mechanicsville, Md.; “The Longest Afternoon of the Year,” directed by first-year student Natasha Threatts of Camden Wyoming, Del.; and “ID,” directed by junior Rebecca Prough of Elizabethtown, who is also designing the lighting for all of the one-acts.
