ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown College Assistant Professor of Biology Debra Wohl has published a curriculum resource that is available in the American Society for Microbiology’s MicrobeLibrary. Wohl’s resource, titled “Exploring Microbial Diversity through a Microbe Collection,” provides a framework for students to collect diverse microorganisms from the environment. She specializes in microbial interactions and their effects on freshwater ecosystem processes.
Wohl earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in entomology and a doctorate in ecology from the University of Georgia. She joined the Elizabethtown College faculty in August 2004, having previously taught at the University of Richmond.
