Elizabethtown College Health Fair to feature screenings, more than 15 health care organizations

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Community members will enjoy free health screenings and information on topics including vision care, women’s health care, air pollution and organ donation at Elizabethtown College’s biannual Health Fair on May 8.

More than 15 health care industry representatives will be on hand for the event, which is open to the public free of charge. WGAL meteorologist Dr. John Scala will greet visitors as well. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Event Space of Brossman Commons (Baugher Student Center). A printable campus map is available at www.etown.edu. Representatives from organizations including the American Diabetes Association, Capital BlueCross, Partners in Women’s Health Care, Rebman Eye Care, Dynamic chiropractic and Travel Health Services will have booths and offer information and screenings. Door prizes will be presented at the end of the event.
