The Office of Residence Life believes that living on campus is a significant learning opportunity for students. Living with other students from different backgrounds is a powerful learning tool. The Residence Life staff maximizes these on these learning moments through intentional programming and community building initiatives. For students who are looking for a deeper learning experience we offer learning communities within the residence halls and Student Directed Communities (SDLC) in independent style housing.

Another important part of education within campus residences is alcohol and other drug education (AOD) programming. Throughout the year RAs plan alcohol free evening programming and post passive educational material about alcohol and other drugs.
