When the church addresses the subject of peace, rarely is the Old Testament seen as the center piece of the discussion. This continuing education event will identify numerous typlogies of peace that exist in the Old Testament and it will explore how these peace typologies are relevant in today's society. The basis of this event is David Leiter's book, Neglected Voices: Peace in the Old Testament, published in 2007 by Herald Press. David Leiter is currently pastor at Greentree Church of the Brethren.
