Elizabeth A. Harvey is assistant director of communications, helping coordinate the production of various college publications, media relations and assisting in the support of the communications needs of the campus community.

She previously worked for 20 years for Lancaster Newspapers Inc. as an editorial assistant, then as a features writer/columnist, and as announcements coordinator. She has received a number of writing awards including a second-place Division 1 Keystone.

Prior to working for Lancaster Newspapers, Elizabeth was an advertising layout artist for Bon-Ton department store, York, Pa., and a senior layout artist with the former Watt & Shand department store, Lancaster.

She is a freelance writer, and attends Elizabethtown College. Previously, she attended Pennsylvania State University, Millersville University, and Harrisburg Area Community College, as well as various professional and continuing education workshops, including American Sign Language.
