Engineering and
Physics Day

Register for the Department Day

Engineering & Physics Website

An education in engineering or physics allows you to understand how the world around you is constructed. We invite you to explore the program at Elizabethtown College through our Department Day!

Elizabethtown College offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and ABET accredited degrees in Engineering and Computer Engineering. A concentration in secondary education is also available for students majoring in Physics.

An Engineering major offers concentrations in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics.

Physics and Engineering Department Day

At Engineering and Physics Day, you’ll be able to:

  • meet faculty from the Physics and Engineering Department.
  • compete in small team challenges.
  • tour campus grounds, dining and residence halls.
  • meet current students.
  • talk with Admissions and Financial Aid.

Attending Engineering and Physics Day will also give you the chance to ask questions like:

  • What kind of careers do your program graduates have?
  • What is your graduate school or job placement rate?
  • What can I do with a degree in engineering or physics?
  • Do you have academic clubs or organizations I could join?

Attention Parents:  Because of the student-oriented collaborative events incorporated within Engineering and Physics Day, we ask that you allow your son or daughter to independently experience the majority of the programming for the day (starting with the sample class at 9:00 am). Look for segments in the students' schedule located on the right side of the page where you are welcome to join.

During parents' downtime, please feel free to explore and/or utilize our campus or visit for sights, attractions, and shopping in the local area.
Special programming for parents will include an Admissions and Financial Aid Process presentation at 2 p.m. and "Coffee & Conversation" with Engineering and Physics faculty at 3 p.m. (locations TBD).
