After Graduation

Elizabethtown College education majors find jobs teaching in public and private schools locally and at schools across Pennsylvania and as far as Florida and Kansas. Recent graduates are working in local districts such as Manheim-Central, Hempfield and Conestoga Valley, as well as in neighboring states at Caesar Reynolds in Delaware and Frederick County, Maryland.

Some of our graduates take part in the prestigious Teach for America program, as well as AmeriCorps.

Many of our graduates go on to earn their master’s degree in their own or a new curricular area, and they usually attend the best graduate schools available in the geographic location in which they are teaching.
