"I realize now that Elizabethtown College should have been my first choice all along."
Music education major Jason Sandonato '15 did not originally intend on coming to Elizabethtown College. He reflected, "I realize now that Elizabethtown College should have been my first choice all along."
It is the combination of the educational opportunities and close relationships that have enriched his time at Elizabethtown College.
"I am amazed at how easy it is to approach any faculty member and have conversations about music. . . it really means a lot to me that you can talk to anyone about music," he said.
In only his first year at Elizabethtown, Jason developed well-rounded friendships to last a lifetime. He stated, "I can't imagine my life without the friends that I developed in the first year. I have made friends with music majors and across other departments."
His friendships have developed out of his active involvement in choral and instrumental ensembles. He defined his well-rounded approach experiences as a hallmark of the Elizabethtown College experience.
"I think that is the thing that stands out to me about Elizabethtown College. The College encourages you to discover who you are. I feel like I have a more well-rounded life here at E-town,"he said.
As he continues along his educational path, Jason looks forward to continued opportunities to grow and connect.
