Back to top 3/30/2006 2nd Biennial Biology & Chemistry Alumni Symposium & Reunion, April 21 The 2nd Biennial Biology & Chemistry Alumni Symposium & Reunion will be held on Friday, April 21, 2006. The event will begin at 1:30 pm when we break ground for the new Science, Math and Engineering Building! Afterwards there will be an opportunity to interact with students at the Poster Presentation at 2 pm in the Brossman Commons Event Space. Students will display what they are learning inside the classroom and how they are applying it through research. At 4 pm there will be a Student Panel Discussion at which time students can discuss career opportunities with alumni. The day will conclude with a reunion dinner at 5 pm at the Raffensperger Alumni House (by invitation only). Back to top 3/30/2006 Biology Seminar, Monday April 3, 4 PM, Gibble Auditorium The Department of Biology presents a talk by Elizabethtown alumna Danielle Underkoffler, Class of 2003, titled "From Hydra to Humans: The Evolution of My Research Experience". Currently, Danielle is a medical student at Duke University. She will talk about her research on early detection of breast cancer and about the experience of doing research both as an Elizabethtown student and as a medical student. The talk will take place in Gibble Auditorium, Esbenshade Hall on Monday, April 3 at 4 pm. A reception will be held prior to the presentation, beginning at 3:30 pm. Back to top 3/30/2006 Biology Awards Banquet to be held April 4th The Biology Department will be holding its annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Myer Hall, Susquehanna Room at 6 pm.
