Back to top 3/24/2006 Eight Honors Students to present at Busniess Conference Eight Honors Students will present at the Business Department's 6th Annual Student Conference in Business and Economics on Wednesday, April 5. The conference will take place throughout the day in the M&M Mars Room in Leffler Chapel. Megan Grimes '06 will present her senior thesis, "Lessons from NAFTA: North America's Experience with Regional Integration," at 10:30 a.m. during Session I, which begins at 9:15 a.m. Kimberley Wienches '09 will present "Economic Possibilities of the Gaza Strip" during Session III, which begins at 1:45 p.m. Kyle Buffenmyer '08, Laurelyn Foderaro '08, and Rachel Yearwood '08 will present on "Fed Challenge: Recommendations to the Federal Reserve" during Session III, which begins at 1:45 p.m. Yearwood will also present "A Study of Commodity Dependent Economics" at 4:00 p.m. Kimberley Whalen '06 will present her senior thesis, "Matching Up is Hard to Do: Investigating Generation Y's Response to Celebrity Endorsements," at 4:00 p.m. Brian Rossell '08 will present "Ireland: The Rise of the Celtic Tiger" during Session IV, which begins at 4:00 p.m. For more information about this event visit the Business Department's Web site at www.etown.edu/business. Back to top 3/15/2006 Honors Student presents at conference in Oklahoma Kimberley Whalen, a senior Business Administration and Marketing major, presented part of her Senior Honors Thesis at the Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators conference, part of the larger Federation of Business Disciplines conference, in Oklahoma City on March 3. The title of her thesis is "Matching Up is Hard to Do: Investigating Generation Y's Response to Celebrity Endorsements." |
