The Blue Jays improved to 12-8 overall and 6-2 in the conference with the win. The visiting Crusaders dropped to 6-11-1 overall and 1-7-1 in the conference with the loss. Elizabethtown made the score 7-6 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth. After holding Susquehanna scoreless in the top of the ninth, Etown designated hitter Tom Semanek (Swoyersville, PA/Bishop Hoban) hit a leadoff double, and Rodney Francis (Pottstown, PA/Owen J. A sacrifice bunt by Jared Morris (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan) moved Francis up to third base, and a one-out sacrifice fly by Matt Vinagro (Fredericksburg, VA/Stafford) brought him home to tie the game. After a scoreless tenth inning and Susquehanna half of the eleventh, Elizabethtown’s Brandon Watson (Philadelphia, PA/Central) led off with a walk.
