Blue Jays Kick Off 2008 Indoor Season at Dickinson Holiday Meet

CARLISLE, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College men's indoor track and field team opened its 2008 indoor schedule at the Dickinson College Holiday Meet on Saturday afternoon. Participating with a limited roster, the Blue Jays placed seventh in a field of 11 schools with 43 points.

Senior Drew Graybeal (Woodbine, MD/Glenelg) earned the victory and broke his own school record in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:22.56.

Sophomore Kyle Grimm (Pottstown, PA/Pottsgrove) was fifth in the 400 meters (54.22 seconds) and sophomore Mike Mauger (Pottstown, PA/The Hill School) took sixth in the 200 meters (24.38 seconds).

California University of Pennsylvania won the team title with 111 points, followed by Gettysburg College (103.5 points) and Dickinson (83 points).
