Farver-Apgar Memorial Biology Scholarship Departmental Honors Award Outstanding Academic Achievement Award Back to top 3/20/2007 Tri-Beta Honor Society to Host Regional Conference on March 24th E-town Biological Honor Society to Host Tri-Beta Regional Conference – Saturday, March 24E-town's chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the Biological Honor Society, is proud to host the Northeast District 2 Convention on Saturday, March 24. The Convention brings together students and faculty from many colleges in the surrounding states. It provides the opportunity for students to learn about the research of their peers and the chance to present their own scientific work. At the conclusion of the day, Dr. Bernard Courtney, Scientific Director of the Department of Homeland Security's National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center, will be the keynote speaker. Members of Rho Lambda have planned the event, which will begin at 8 a.m. Several E-town students will present their findings on Saturday at the conference.
