Back to top 4/1/2008 An Update on the Thompson Gym Office Addition Project The Thompson Gym utility relocations are complete and we are ready to start construction of the Thompson Gym Office Addition. The construction manager, R.D. Poole will begin construction of the Office Addition on Monday, April 7th. During the construction, the access corridor between the Campus Center and Thompson Gym will be closed – please click on this link to see a drawing of the area to be closed. On the south side of Thompson Gym, Poole staff will be erecting construction fence to replace the orange fence that was installed during the utility relocations. The emergency access path leading to the rear doors of Thompson gym will remain open during the construction. The Brinser access road and the current vehicle circulation around the Campus Center will be not be impacted by the construction. During the construction, delivery trucks, Poole and their sub-contractors’ trucks, cranes and other vehicles will be driving on the roads around Thompson and the Campus Center, so please use caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the construction area.
