Jenna Russo Named Second-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior forward Jenna Russo (Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) has been named second-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region in women's soccer by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Russo, a first-team All-Region selection last season and a second-team choice in 2006, was named first-team All-Commonwealth Conference for the third straight year.

She finished with nine goals and five assists for 23 points, including three game-winning goals, and had a five-game point streak late in the season in which she registered four goals and four assists.

She closed her Blue Jay career with 37 goals and 23 assists for 97 points, ranking fifth in goals and points and tied for 10th in assists.

Russo is the third Elizabethtown player to be a three-time All-Region selection, joining Dana Moyer (2004-06) and Meredith Uber (1996-97, 99).

The Blue Jays finished 13-6-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference, falling to eventual NCAA Division III champion Messiah College in the conference finals.
