After VanDenHengel opened with a 3:51 over 1,200 meters, it was Howser who impressed the coaching staff with a time of 2:24 for her 800-meter segment. Miles followed with a 62-second split in the 400 meters, while Kulp closed with a 5:07 over 1,600 meters.

"Kathryn had run a 2:34 in her only open 800m of the 2009 indoor season," said director of cross country and track and field Chris Straub. "But Coach Falk and I knew she was capable of a 2:24, and she delivered just that!"

Like the men's DMR, the women's DMR will head to the New Balance Collegiate Games at the New York City Armory next Friday in an attempt to better their time and take another crack at the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time.
