Back to top 1/16/2009 Occupancy Sensors Facilities Management has received calls about a 4”X4”X1" devices with a one inch plastic sensor in the Event Space. These are space use and occupancy recorders that have been installed by Siemens as part of their data gathering work in preparation for our planned energy conservation program. There is second type of sensor that you may see in some spaces that is 1”X1” with a red blinking light. These sensors are used to sense occupancy. Once the data gathering stage of the project has been completed the sensors will be removed. Here are pictures of the sensors:     |
