OWINGS MILLS, Md. --- Senior Katie Foley (Palmyra, NJ/Holy Cross) became Elizabethtown College's career goal leader as she scored four times in the Blue Jays' 16-15 victory at Stevenson University in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Thursday.

Foley, who also assisted on four goals, broke the program career record of 202 goals set by Liz Fretz from 2002 to 2005 on her third goal of the game with 17:02 remaining in the second half. Foley, who now has 204 goals and 272 points in her career, had eclipsed Fretz's career point record of 261 on Tuesday evening at Gettysburg College.

The contest was a see-saw affair that saw the 20th-ranked Blue Jays (4-2 overall) net the winning goal with 1:58 to play off the stick of sophomore Maria DeMatteo (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs), capping a comeback from a 15-13 deficit with seven minutes remaining.

Two goals by Byrnes and one from Foley helped the Blue Jays pull within 8-6 at halftime, and the teams exchanged goals for the first 10 minutes of the second half to leave the Mustangs ahead 11-9 with 20:12 to go.

Elizabethtown would respond with four straight goals off the sticks of Kreis, Foley, Caprinolo and DeMatteo to move ahead 13-11 with 14:23 to play, but Hnizda scored twice in 79 seconds to knot the game at 13-13 with 12:06 left.

Weiss and Hnizda teamed up to score twice in a 52-second span to give Stevenson a 15-13 lead with 8:32 remaining, but Kreis scored on a free-position shot with 6:54 left to trim the Mustang lead to one. Foley then tied the game with her fourth goal of the day with 6:02 left, setting up DeMatteo's game-winner.
