The following awards will be presented at that time: Dr. Benjamin G. and Vera B. Musser Pre-Medical Scholarship Thomas C. Conover Memorial Scholarship Rettew Scholarship Dr. Charles E. and Mary E. Weaver Biology Scholarship Departmental Service Award Dr. Charles S. Farver-Apgar Memorial Biology Scholarship Biology Secondary Education Award Departmental Honors Award Outstanding Academic Achievement Award Back to top 3/3/2009 Dr. Bowne and Dr. Wohl awarded grant Dr. David Bowne and Dr. Debra Wohl were awarded their second Student Challenge Award grant by the Earthwatch Institute to lead a two-week summer research expedition. The grant will fund eight nationally recognized high school students to carry out research in Lancaster County. The research, titled "Mapping bacteria across a landscape," is a project designed to explain the spatial distribution of antibiotic resistance in bacteria. |
