manager of research services from the Mobil Corp., following 15 years with Mobil Oil in Paulsboro, N.J., and 15 years with Mobil Chemical in Edison, N.J. Except for the 7:40 a.m. classes, I fondly remember my courses with Oscar Stambaugh—and was honored to receive the O.F. Stambaugh Chemistry Alumni Award in 1986. Who could forget the chemistry lab courses with Phares Hertzog? Other campus memories are of good times with friends and playing on the soccer team for four years. My wife, Beverly, and I retired to Williamsburg, Va. Traveling is one of our greatest pleasures, and we have visited all seven continents. Highlights include walking among penguins, seeing polar bears up close, and taking photo safaris in several African countries. Other favorite activities include skiing; sailing; attending concerts, theater events, and Lifelong Learning courses held on campus at The College of William & Mary; and volunteering to help support the Williamsburg Symphonia Orchestra.” Herb can be reached at 757-784-1495 or herbspan@cox.net . Dr. Joseph Wagenseller writes, “After graduation from Elizabethtown, I went to seminary in New York City, then served churches in Virginia and Connecticut. I continue to serve voluntarily at our parish in

Westport, Conn. Further training in pastoral counseling and Jungian analysis enabled me to combine spirituality and depth psychotherapy in practice and teaching in Manhattan and Westport. My wife, Ginny, and I have been married 40 years and have three grown children. Ginny works as a nurse at a pediatric office and volunteers as a parish nurse at our church. We have enjoyed travels to Russia, Greece, Turkey and Egypt, among others. I continue to practice in Westport and teach at Columbia University in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. Publications in Jungian analysis and spirituality most recently include ‘Individuation: Jung’s Psychological Equivalent of a Spiritual Journey,’ Oxford University Press, ‘Handbook of Spirituality & Psychology,’ Lisa Miller, ed. Dr. Anna Yoder writes, “Entering Elizabethtown College as a registered nurse transfer student, my weekends were generally spent working off campus, so I had less opportunity than some to develop close relationships with classmates. However, I recall my campus years with fondness for the quality of education and the good

memories of classmates I did learn to know. After a few years teaching in Harrisburg, I moved to Boston where I fell in love with the geography of the area and with the many career opportunities in an urban, education-rich environment with world-class health care facilities. Life has provided many local, state and national opportunities for me through-out my career in nursing, and in later years I returned to school and obtained a doctorate in nursing with an emphasis in health policy. I retired in 2009, and currently enjoy volunteer work, the Red Sox, and travel—a trip to Australia and New Zealand represents a significant highlight of those travels.” Anna can be reached at 617-696-1335 or annayoder1@ gmail.com .
