Meal Plans: You’ve Got Options

Just like the variety of menu items and places you can grab a bit to eat, we offer our students several meal plan options.

Step 1:

Choose a Meal Plan

Elizabethtown College offers 10 meal plans, including residential blocks (Gold, Silver and Bronze), independent living blocks, and a mini-meal plan perfect for the occasional campus diner. See the chart below for more details. (Have a question? See if it's answered on our Meal Plan Help page.)

It’s all about flexibility.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze plans are the same price; the difference comes in with the flexibility in the number of sit-down meals in Marketplace vs. the amount of Jay Bucks, which can be used at other campus dining options. These options allow you to pick the plan that best fits your college schedule.

Step 2:

Try it out during our 'Migration Period'

Not sure which plan is right for you? We know that as the semester begins, you're still learning your schedule: You're discovering what your course load will be like, adding/dropping classes, signing up for clubs and activities. Take the first two weeks of the semester to determine if your selected meal plan is working for you. Do you need more meals? Do you not have enough? If you need to make a change, you can.  THE LAST DATE TO MAKE MEAL PLAN CHANGES AND/OR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PLUS PLANS FOR FALL 2016 WAS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2016

Step 3:

At Elizabethtown College, we're proud of our campus-owned dining facilities. The Marketplace is an all-you-care-to-eat dining facility, open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.* with a rotating menu and lots of special stations. The Jay's Nest offers made-to-order items, a deli, sushi bar, a hot meal option and lots of snacks, beverages and grocery items.
