International Credit Transfer
I. International Baccalaureate (IB)
Students who complete the International Baccalaureate program are encouraged to apply for admission to Elizabethtown College. Advanced placement credits may be granted for scores of 5 or above on the higher-level examinations.
Official transcripts for the International Baccalaureate should be sent directly from International Baccalaureate Organization, North American Regional Office, 200 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10016 to the Admissions Office at Elizabethtown College. The IBO website has instructions on how alumni of their program can request IB transcripts. Transcripts are evaluated on an individual basis.
II. International Advanced Secondary Programs
A number of countries offer diploma programs at an advanced college/university preparatory level. Potential students are encouraged to submit credentials such as those listed below for evaluation and possible transfer credit.
- British A-levels
- German Arbitur
- French Baccalaureate
- Swiss Maturite
- Dutch Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Ondesijs
III. International College/University Credentials
Students who have international credentials are encouraged to apply to Elizabethtown College. International credentials should be sent to an international evaluation service such as those listed below. An official translation with credit recommendations must be sent directly from the evaluation service to the Admissions Office at Elizabethtown College. The official translation with credit recommendations will then be evaluated by the Assistant to the Director of Records at Elizabethtown College for possible transfer credit.
