Daily Crime and Fire Log Definitions

The following is an explanation of the terminology used to complete the disposition section of the Daily Crime and Fire Log.

Pending Investigation: The case is currently being investigated by Elizabethtown Campus Security.

Referred to EPD or EBPD: The case is being investigated by the Elizabethtown Police Department (EPD or EBPD).

Referred to NWRPD: The case is being investigated by the Northwest Regional Police Department (NWRPD).

Referred to Outside Agency: The case is being investigated by a law enforcement agency other than EPD. The specific agency will be identified in the disposition.

Referred to SRR: The case has been forwarded to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. That office is responsible for reviewing the case and for determining whether or not the student(s) involved will be charged with a violation(s) of the Student Code of Conduct.

Case Closed with arrest: The subject(s) has been arrested by either EPD or another outside law enforcement agency.

Case Closed: No Leads: Case has no solvability.

Suspended: Investigation suspended.
