Application Requirements
To be eligible to apply to graduate business programs, you must:
- Official transcripts conferring a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher (waivers can be granted based on professional work experience and other factors)
- have a minimum of three years of professional leadership/management experience (may include experience gained during your undergraduate education)
- have time to devote to your coursework; in an accelerated program, time spent outside of class is considerable

How to Apply: Complete the graduate application process via the online portal which includes:
- Submitting a $50 nonrefundable application fee (Waived for Elizabethtown College graduates).
- Requesting official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended.
- Uploading your current resume.
- Uploading a 1-2 page essay addressing your:
- Statement of professional goals
- Current approach to leadership/management
- Long-term goals for the application of the graduate degree to your professional life

Providing two recommendations. Instructions are available in the admissions portal, however, one recommendation must be from your current supervisor. The second recommendation can be from an individual who can comment on your professional and/or academic qualities. Both recommendations will become part of your application file and will not be disclosed to any unauthorized individual without your consent.
- The College Board Certification of Finances form
- A copy of the photograph page of your passport
- SAT/ACT/TOEFL /IELTS/EIKEN/PTE/Cambridge English scores (unless your bachelor’s degree was taught in English)
- WES evaluated transcripts
Admissions Requirements

- OPTIONAL: Upload proof of certification in CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA or other credentials related to financial services

- Two recommendations from immediate supervisors, music teachers, mentors, and/or undergraduate faculty addressing your leadership abilities in music education and potential for success in graduate studies
- A writing sample that demonstrates your ability to write about music
- A brief personal statement (1 page) describing your purpose in pursuing graduate work in peacebuilding, your career objectives, and your particular interest in this Master of Music Education program

Once you have submitted all of the admissions materials, please contact Dr. Kevin Shorner-Johnson at shornerk@etown.edu to schedule a time to take the
Master of Music Education Theory Entrance Exam
. This is required as part of the admissions process.
Admissions Requirements
- Possess a current, valid Teaching Certification. Out of state candidates must contact the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and attain PA Certification through reciprocity before program acceptance.

- Recommendation from two current supervisors that (1) speak to the ability of the candidate to complete the program, fieldwork, and internship hours and (2) address the willingness of the candidate’s school/district to accommodate these hours.

Graduate Programs: Psychology
Eligibility Requirements for application to the M.A. in Counseling Psychology Program:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on 4.0 scale (applicants with a lower GPA will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are not required, but may be submitted for consideration. Applicants with a GPA lower than 3.0 are encouraged to submit either the GRE or Miller Analogies Test (MAT).
- An undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related field is not required, however, preference will be given to applicants who have taken at least three psychology courses and earned a grade of “B” or better in each
Application Deadline: For Fall 2023 cohort admittance please submit materials by February 1, 2023. Applications submitted after February 1 will be considered on a rolling basis as space allows until June 15.

Selected applicants will be invited to complete an interview. Final admissions decisions will be determined after the interview. We take a holistic approach to application review and will review all applications received. Graduate Programs: Occupational Therapy
Eligibility Requirements for application to the Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program:
- Must be a licensed occuaptional therapist with official transcripts conferring a master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion 2 graduate certificate programs through SGPS. Graduate certificates can be in any of the following designated areas, Autism Support, Trauma Informed Practice, Strategic Leadership, or Healthcare Administration.
- Must posess the time to devote to your coursework; in an accelerated program, time spent outside of class is considerable.

- If you would like to accelerated the completion of the doctoral program and do not choose to receive any graduate certificate designations on your transcripts, please follow these instructions:

- If you prefer to receive certificate designation on your transcript for each of the areas you pursue within th PPOTD, it will require taking each graduate certifciate individually. Please follow these instructions:

After successfully completing your Elizabethtown College graduate certificate, students may complete the Advance in Graduate Certificate or Degree form in the JayWeb student portal to apply to a future graduate certificate or graduate degree. Additional materials may be required, depending on the program of interest.
What Happens Next?
After receiving your admissions materials, the SGPS Management Team will make an admissions decision. Should you be accepted, an initial offer letter with be delivered via the applicant portal. You must "accept" your admission offer to proceed toward matriculating into your program. If we have questions or concerns, we will be in touch with you for further discussion.
