The Elizabethtown College School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers five undergraduate and three graduate accelerated adult degree program in a completely online format. Online classes are not limited to those enrolled in completely online degree programs. All SCPS students are able to take a mix of online and in-person courses depending on major, course requirements and schedule.
Online Graduate Programs
The Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program delivers a comprehensive curriculum covering all aspects and cycles of a business, from finance and marketing to corporate social responsibility and leadership. Designed for working, in-service teachers, the Master of Education in Special Education affords candidates a complex understanding of educational theory, an awareness and adherence to professional ethics, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to establish and maintain an equitable and purposeful learning environment for all students. Candidates may select from either K-8 or 7-12 certification for the state of Pennsylvania.
Designed for working, in-service teachers, the online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction prepares students for Level II Certification. The program takes a peaceable classroom approach and places an emphasis on issues of social justice, student rights, conflict resolution, community capacity, culturally responsive methods, and student/teacher advocacy.
The 12-credit graduate certificate in Health Care Administration focuses on developing core competencies in strategic areas in alignment with today's health care organizations. Coursework covers key topics such as: leadership, management, policy, ethics, legal issues, finance and economics,strategically enhancing processes, human resources and information systems.
The 12-credit graduate certificate in Strategic Leadership focuses on developing core competencies in critical areas relevant to effective leadership in various organizations. Coursework covers key topics such as: leadership in business and life, developing and leading individuals and teams, innovation and change management, cross-sector collaboration, strategic communications, design thinking and problem identification and solution development.
