Committed to its motto to “Educate for Service,” Elizabethtown College provides students with numerous cocurricular opportunities to lead and serve, preparing them for lives of purpose as private citizens, public servants and leaders, and successful professionals.

Students “learn by doing” through more than 80 student clubs and organizations, academic honor societies, and service-oriented organizations, student governance, student-run radio and television stations and an award-winning newspaper. Twenty NCAA Division III intercollegiate varsity athletic teams and intramural sports also offer provide additional leadership opportunities.

The Center for Global Citizenship -- which brings together activities related to international programs, service-learning and peacemaking -- offers opportunities for students to communicate with, live alongside, learn from and serve among people from diverse ethnic, linguistic and cultural settings. In addition, Student Directed Learning Communities provide students with a common interest in helping others an off-campus residence where they may live and serve together.

The Center for Student Success -- comprised of Academic Advising, Career Services, Counseling Services, Disability Services and Learning Services -- provides guidance and support as students work toward their professional and personal goals. 

Elizabethtown’s relationship-centered educational experience extends beyond the classroom. The entire campus community – faculty, administrators and staff --  is available to offer support and encouragement to students as they live and learn at Elizabethtown.
