How To Access Voice Messages From JayNet Telecommunications

Logging In 
  1. If you dial the Call Pilot extension 1200 from your own phone, you do not have to enter your mailbox number. Just press #.
  2. To access Call Pilot from a JayNet phone other than your own, press 1200. Enter your mailbox number followed by #. Proceed as usual.
  3. To log into Call Pilot from off campus, dial (717) 361-1200.

Logging Off 

    When you are finished using Call Pilot, press 83.

Playing Your Messages
  1. To play a message, press 2
  2. To stop the message, press #
  3. To resume play, press 2 again
  4. To skip backward within the message, press 1 (will rewind 5 seconds each time 1 is pressed)
  5. To skip forward within the message, press 3 (will fast forward 5 seconds for each time 3 is pressed)
  6. Once a message has been played, it will be retained by the system for two weeks

Deleting Old Messages 

    Call Pilot will retain played messages for two weeks. However, your voice mailbox is limited to four minutes of saved message storage. To improve system performance, please delete old messages:

  1. To delete a message, press 76
  2. To restore a message you have just deleted, press 76 again

Replying to Messages 

    After listening to a message from someone on the Call Pilot system at Elizabethtown College, you can send a reply or return message:

  1. Press 71
  2. Press 5 to begin recording your reply
  3. Press # to stop recording
  4. Press 2 to hear the message before sending
  5. Press 79 to send the message

Creating Messages 

    Instead of calling someone and waiting for Call Pilot to take your message, you can access the Call Pilot extension (1200) or, if you are already in your mailbox, you can use the Compose command (75):
Press 75

  1. Enter the list of mailboxes you want to send the message to followed by #
  2. Press 5 to start recording
  3. Press # to stop recording
  4. Press 2 to replay the message before sending it
  5. Press 79 to send the message
