Fine Arts Program
The Art History minor requires Art 155, 157, and three 200-400 level art history elective courses (Art 230, 250, 260, 270, 360 or 470).The Studio Art minor requires Art 105; 106 or 120; 155 or 157; one 100-200 level studio art elective course (Art 130, 204, 205, 206, 210, or 251), and one 200-400 level art history elective course (Art 230, 250, 260, 270, 360 or 470).
Music Program
The Music minor provides students with opportunities to acquire and develop skills in music theory, music performance, music history and literature. The Music minor requires Music 101 and 103; 110, 121; 441 or 205; four credits of instruction on one instrument or in voice, with registration in Music 100 (Repertoire Class) in each of the same semesters; and a minimum of four credits of music ensemble participation.A student electing to minor in Music must consult with the Department Chair, who assigns a music faculty member to assess the student’s readiness for admission to the program.
