The courses of the Department of Biology provide a foundation in basic concepts and principles involving the structural, functional and environmental aspects of the living world. The courses provide the student with a broad and unifying understanding of nature’s life forms. The Department involves students in research studies with professors through independent study projects, intern-ships and a senior seminar.
