Evacuation Information
Assumptions

In the event an evacuation is ordered, the primary means of transportation will be personal automobiless.

All support activities will be coordinated by the Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency.

Adequate transportation will be available for non-ambulatory and other special cases via ambulance and bus.

Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency will arrange for bus service if needed.
Responsibilities
-
The Residence Director is responsible for coordinating, loading and dispatching personal autos at each residence hall.

The Director of Campus Security is responsible for the assembly, loading and dispatch of buses from each pickup point.

The Director of Residence Life is responsible for coordination with Franklin & Marshall College for the receipt of students evacuated from Elizabethtown College.
Concept of Operations

At the "site area emergency" level, all resident students will be assembled in their residence halls. All non-resident students will be dismissed.

Students will be picked up at Founders, Myer, and Leffler Chapel by private auto, bus, or College van. Three or four students will be assigned to each personal auto.
- The Elizabethtown Emergency Management Agency will be notified of any requirement for ambulance support.

The designated safe rendezvous point is the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center at Franklin & Marshall College.
