Philosophy and Goals
The English Department's primary goals are to develop students' abilities in reading, writing, and speaking about language and literature. Our curriculum in Literature, Professional Writing and Secondary Education provides students with traditional academic courses together with out-of-class opportunities for learning and extra-curricular activities. Graduates from our program pursue careers or further study in any language-related field.
